African Bank Limited (ABL) is a commercial South African bank in with a vision to improve quality of life through affordable, convenient and responsible credit.
We helped ABL develop a client rewards service using Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) technology. This allows customers to accomplish set goals by making payments on outstanding loans and receiving rewards in the process. Our solution not only enabled ongoing and sustainable engagement between ABL and their customers, it also provided valuable user activity and reporting that enabled better customer relations and insights. We went on to provide consulting services to assess the health of ABL’s entire IT department to identify where improvements were needed that would facilitate better service delivery to internal business stakeholders.
