BBD Group today announced they’ve acquired a 26% stake in Fusion Software, a South African company providing integrated software solutions and business management tools.

BBD CEO Peter Searle, says this strategic partnership will enable BBD to add enterprise resource capabilities to their offerings. “Working with Fusion Software since December 2014 has showcased not only the cultural fit but highlighted their leading business intelligence and process improvement solutions.”

Searle explains the acquisition is part of BBD’s strategy to strengthen its position as one of South Africa’s leading ICT companies. “Fusion Software combines dynamic and flexible solutions, geared for companies seeking more Agile ways of working in today’s data prolific world.”

With a 33-year track record, we believe in offering real commercial value to clients through a collaborative approach. This is aligned with Fusion Software’s desire to provide solutions that truly impact a client’s business, through integrating software solutions.

David Tayler, CEO for Fusion Software, shares how partnering with BBD is an exciting step for the company. “Working with BBD will help us expand our products and our brand into national and possibly international markets.”

Established in 2002, Fusion Software has clients across a range of sectors from finance to manufacturing and engineering. “We are very proud of our truly South African solutions and hope to be able to do innovative work with BBD,” says Tayler.

By combining excellent people with a focus on delivering the right value, Searle believes BBD’s latest acquisition will continue to enable the software development organisation to deliver the simple, easy-to-use solutions that deliver benefits to clients on a daily basis.
