Skills and Experience
Minimum qualifications
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical qualification
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in backend software development
- Proven production experience building and maintaining applications with Python and Django
Required technologies
- Proven expertise in Python with strong programming fundamentals and object-oriented design
- Production-level experience with Django and Django REST Framework
- Expert-level understanding of RESTful API design and backend service architecture
- SQL and relational database fundamentals
- Git and standard software development practices
Nice to have
- React or other modern JavaScript frontend experience
- Experience with Django REST Framework
- Cloud, CI/CD or DevOps exposure
- Docker and containerisation
- Automated testing and test-driven development
