The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled multimedia designer to join the BBD team. In this role, you will get into the thick of things – creating high-quality video and motion graphics, corporate campaigns and collateral, and branded swag to name but a few awesome avenues! This role is made for someone who loves the challenge of finding creative design solutions through divergent thinking. As part of a larger team, our multimedia designers are involved in all steps of the process, from conceptualisation to delivery. We value people who are curious, collaborative and always looking for better ways of doing things. Whether it’s learning a new tool, exploring emerging technologies or testing a fresh creative approach, we want someone who enjoys growing alongside the team.
Skills and Experience
What we’re looking for in our multimedia designer:
- Relevant graphic / multimedia design degree / diploma / certifications
- 2-3 years’ experience in multimedia design
- Industry standard design portfolio
- Proficient in:
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premier Pro
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Dreamweaver / HTML
- Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of Windows OS
- Ability to interpret briefs, conceptualise graphics and produce solutions
- Good knowledge of layout for both digital and print design principles
- Video editing and motion graphics capabilities essential
- Film and post-production experience
- Experience creating content for digital marketing campaigns
- Advantageous:
- Basic WordPress knowledge
- Photography and photo retouching
- Basic sound editing
- Experience with generative AI tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Runway, Midjourney, ChatGPT, or similar)

- Ability to work accurately under pressure and can effectively manage time across multiple simultaneous deliverables
